Earlier this summer, the distict’s Information Technology team installed Purple Air Quality sensors at Cedarcrest Stadium at Cedarcrest High School, Tolt Middle School, Cherry Valley Elementary, Stillwater Elementary, the district’s Carnation campus – home to Carnation Elementary, Riverview Ancillary Programs, and Riverview Learning Center, and the Riverview School District Educational Service Center.
The district has added a “Safety” tab to the district website (www.rsd407.org), which includes a link to our new Air Quality home page, showing you the current readings of all Riverview School District Purple Air Quality sensors.
Hello Carnation Tiger Community! A Staff Breakroom refresh has been a hope of CEPTSA for several years and this year is the year we are making it happen! We need a few more small furniture and decor items to complete the room for the grand re-opening to welcome the AWESOME staff of Carnation Elementary back to the building. Please consider donating. There are three ways you can help:
1. Purchase and item from the wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2K01KXWXHT7IF…
2. Help restock with goodies: https://www.signupgenius.com/…/8050A4DA5AB2BABFA7…

It was so sad to hear of Steve’s passing this summer. He was the most friendly, caring, and gentle soul and I know he was loved by the CE kids who rode on Bus #29. Steve, thank you for keeping our little Tigers safe…you will be incredibly missed!
From the Riverview School District Facebook Page…
A few weeks ago, the Riverview School District learned the sad news of the tragic passing of one of our Transportation team members, Steve Schold.
Steve joined Riverview School District for the 2022-2023 school year as a bus driver and brought his love of community and connection to his daily work. His wife Alison shares that, “working with kids, and as a bus driver, reinvigorated him.” Prior to joining Riverview, Steve spent 34 years working as a pharmacist and many remember his long tenure at Duvall Safeway, serving our community from 2000-2015. He retired in 2020 from the North Bend Safeway pharmacy, with additional years working in Sammamish and Fall City early in his career.
As we continue to grieve the loss of this esteemed member of our Riverview Community, on behalf of his wife Alison, we would like to share that the community is invited to remember and honor Steve at a Celebration of Life event on September 9, 2023, from Noon – 1:30 p.m., at the Riverview School District Educational Service Center Assembly Hall, located at 15510 – 1st Avenue N.E. in Duvall.
Our time with Steve was far too short. He will be missed by our Riverview team and the community he so proudly served and called his home.

Our Tiger community is filled with the BEST volunteers!
Volunteers are critical to the success of CEPTSA and none of this is possible without the help of our dedicated group.
Reminder, volunteer approval through the district is required every two years. Please update your status if needed!
