First up is the DIY: Wool Bracelet event on Friday, November 8th!
Thursday 10/31 is PTSA Book Character Costume Day! Students may also wear Halloween costumes.
– Costumes should be comfortable
– No face paint or face coverings
– No weapons or references to weapons
– Please leave wands etc. at home
Attention Fifth Graders! Get your creative juices flowing because it’s time to whip up some original masterpieces for our Yearbook Cover Contest!
Check out the guidelines in the communication document. Don’t forget, the students’ artistic gems are due by December 6th!
Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us for dinner and a movie on Friday!
We enjoyed popcorn, good company and the PTSA gave away 2 copies of the book that the movie was based on.
We also had posters for everyone to take home and 1 lucky Tiger went home with a The Wild Robot poster!’

The wonderful librarians at KCLS are RAD! They are very excited to be part of our Radiant Readers challenge to help our students read their way to the Rad Reader celebration in May! Here are a few of the cool things they have done:
*A special display of Radiant Reader books just across the street at the Carnation branch
*Radiant Reader book lists on hand at the Carnation branch
*Online lists to easily find and/or place holds on these titles
