The Cedarcrest Forefront Team invites Riverview School District parents and caregivers to attend a free suicide prevention training on Tuesday, November 17, 2026 from 6:30pm – 8pm at the Cedarcrest High School Library. Come learn a five-step process to help you talk with someone you’re worried about, learn if they are considering suicide, and take early steps to keep them safe.
This training is designed for parents and caregivers of students in grades 9 through 12, but the steps can be adapted and used with youth of any age, particularly middle school and up. Anyone working with youth is encouraged to attend. More on this program is at https://forefrontintheschools.org/
1. Students WILL NOT need instruments tomorrow. If you already have an instrument, please do not bring it to school.
2. Any instruments delivered to school tomorrow will come home with your student.
3. I will contact individual families to arrange pick-up if your student’s instrument remains at school.
4. If you rented an instrument and it is not delivered tomorrow, it will arrive next week!

All grades K-5th are welcome to join this before school club activity. Your form and payment can be mailed to the address listed on the form or brought to the school office ahead of the first practice.
