The last session of the year for the PBIS Prize Cart is coming up on 6/1 – 6/5!
We are looking for volunteers to help take the prize cart around school while our students spend their hard earned tickets!

Last week CE PTSA celebrated the reading progress of every student in the school! Students in ISET, Kindergarten and first grade watched a short movie adaptation of a Julia Donaldson book during their library time and grades 2-5 did an art project that was led by a local Zentangle artist.
Thank you Mr. Heimfeld and volunteers for helping to make this a successful and rewarding celebration of reading!

Congratulations to the girls from the Carnation Girls on the Run chapter who completed their 5K yesterday at Carnation Elementary!
So much hard work, encouragement, teamwork, and confidence-building went into this season, and it all showed at the finish line. We’re so proud of you for showing up, supporting each other, and finishing strong.
Thank you to the coaches, volunteers, and families who helped make the season so special.

Carnation Elementary PTSA NEEDS a Treasurer in order to operate during the upcoming 2026–2027 school year.
The PTSA Treasurer is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the PTSA. Key responsibilities include:
Keeping accurate financial records and submitting written financial statements for meetings;
Chairing the Budget Committee, which prepares and monitors the annual budget;
Ensuring an audit, financial review, or compilation is completed in accordance with the bylaws;
Preparing an annual report used to review PTSA financial records;
Filing the PTSA’s IRS Form 990 on time
Submitting required state-level reports and filings;
Overseeing the proper handling of money, including ensuring funds are collected, counted, recorded, and deposited promptly and appropriately;
Ensuring financial checks and balances are maintained at all times.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and comfortable working with budgets and financial reporting. No prior PTSA treasurer experience is required – we have an amazing current treasurer who is willing to train and support you throughout the transition!

Hi there families! If you are still deciding on whether or not to do the REF run/walk, come do it and support our school’s Green Team! A group of us are walking and running as “Carnation Elementary Green Team.” We’d love to have to with us!
