Holiday Bazaar

Thank you to everyone who attended the Holiday Bazaar in December! We had a great turnout with wonderful vendors and fabulous art made by the kids. It was a really fun event and we were able to raise some money for the school as well as procure some items for our upcoming silent auction.

 

Riverview Reflection’s Gala

We want to congratúlate all of our Tigers who showed work at Friday night’s Riverview Reflection’s Gala! It was a beautiful night celebrating our district students as they shared their creative expressions of the theme “I Am Hopeful Because…” 

A special shout out to those who received Finalist Awards and will move on the state level this spring! Way to go Tigers!

MLK Peace Walk

MLK Peace Walk- Thursday, January 18th

Families are welcome to line the streets to support our CE students on their Peace walk

2:45 students will begin in the Gym with a whole school song.

2:55 the students will start their peace walk carrying their signs of Peace, Equality and Kindness.

The entire school will Leave the gym, and head towards the Carnation Library. Walk past the Library and turn left on Tolt Ave.

They will then continue and turn left on East Rutherford Street, walk to Spilman Avenue and take a left on Spilman to then return back to Carnation Elementary by 3:30 to pack up in their classrooms for dismissal. We hope you can join us!

Donations for Art from the Heart

January 15, 2024

PTSA is organizing Art from the Heart, a fun afternoon of friendship and love-inspired crafts on February 9th. We are asking for donations for friendship bracelets! Specifically pony beads or other beads that children can easily thread on pipe cleaners.

Please drop off donations to the office during school hours. Thank you so much!

On January 2, 2024, Riverview’s Transportation mechanics, drivers, and team received 100% success on the Washington State Patrol inspection once again.

Sabrina Warren, our Transportation supervisor, shares that the State Patrol gave huge compliments to her and her team because Riverview, “always take care of our buses!” She also gave a shout-out to lead mechanics Shayne Adams and Mike Warner, who are pictured in this post.

Huge congratulations to Shayne, Mike, Sabrina, and all the members of our amazing Transportation team!

Reflections Gala

The Riverview PTSA Council will be hosting a Reflections Awards Gala this Friday, January 12th @ 6pm at the Riverview District Building in Duvall! Our Tiger finalists will be celebrated along with others from across the district awards will be announced. You’ll be sure to be inspired by this year’s expressions of hope from our Riverview artists! All are welcome to attend!

Join Ignite Dance Carnation Carnation at Carnation Elementary! Starting the week of January 16th, they are offering Yoga classes on Tuesdays and Hip Hop classes on Wednesdays immediately after school.

Winter Break Challenge

Students are being sent home with this optional Winter Break Challenge and we hope they enjoy filling it out! We invite you to support them by modifying any ‘snowballs’ to meet their abilities.

All attempts will be rewarded with a prize and those that complete the challenge will be entered in to a raffle for additional prizes. Enjoy!
