Popcorn Fridays are a student favorite!
We’re looking for someone to take on the Popcorn Friday lead Coordinator role just once a month. It’s a great way to get involved and bring joy to our students!
What’s involved?
-
Pick-Up – On Thursday evening, pick up popcorn in Redmond.
-
Prep Supplies -Organize and count the bags and other materials.
-
Bagging – Bag popcorn between 10-12 pm.
-
Distribution –Hand out between 12-1 pm during recess.

Cool-down this Friday with a firetruck sprinkler and some shave ice!
Who: City of Carnation, Eastside Fire & Rescue, Two Bumz Shaved Ice
What: ESFR will bring their firetruck to spray the Tolt Commons for about 15 minutes. A shave ice truck will be available for a refreshing treat afterward.
Where: Tolt Commons
When: Friday, August 29, 2025, at 12 pm
Why: Because it is hot… real hot!
