ART CLUB dove into their first project inspired by Gustav Klimt! Kids were learning about drawing faces, proportions and the most exciting part: gold leafing.

If our Tigers reach their fundraising goal, we’ll unlock an unforgettable experience with Scott Petersen — nationally recognized zoologist, educator, and author!
Scott has been featured on Disney’s Bill Nye the Science Guy, PBS’ Biz Kids, NPR Radio, and local favorites like Evening Magazine and Northwest Afternoon. Big names like Microsoft, Boeing, and Nintendo have relied on Scott to both educate and entertain — and now it’s our turn!
In a dynamic 40-minute show, Scott will bring 8–12 live reptiles and teach us about the vital role all animals play in our ecosystem. But that’s not all!
We’re offering two exciting experiences:
An up-close, in-school assembly for students
A family evening event where everyone can see, touch, and hold these amazing animals!Let’s rally together to reach our goal and bring this wild adventure to our school!

At the heart of Tiger Walk is our mission: to make sure every Tiger feels seen, valued, and celebrated as part of our incredible school community.
This amazing gift was made possible thanks to the generosity of our local business sponsors — and we can’t wait to introduce you to the businesses that helped bring this project to life very soon!
Special Thanks to The Sanctuary Art Center We also want to bring special attention to the incredible nonprofit that is making the printing of our shirts possible: The Sanctuary Art Center in Seattle.
The Sanctuary Art Center is a collection of art studios providing creative programs for homeless and underserved youth ages 16–25 in the Greater Seattle area. Founded in 1999 on the belief that creativity is an essential part of the human experience, their mission is to empower and include young people from disenfranchised backgrounds so they may reach their fullest potential.
Many of the youth they serve have experienced significant trauma in their lives. Through artistic expression, Sanctuary Art Center offers a safe, supportive space where young people can explore their experiences, build self-esteem, and take steps toward healing.
By partnering with them for our t-shirt printing, we’re not only supporting our own school community—we’re also investing in a mission of healing, hope, and creative empowerment.
