SMEDS AND THE SMOOS- This is another lovely story written by Julia Donaldson. The story works for all ages because it is a simple but effective way of highlighting the importance of tolerance and acceptance of differences (8 minutes).

). It is well suited for k-2 with a message highlighting that even the smallest creature can achieve great things and make a significant impact (7 minutes).

The theme for National Read Across America Week is ‘Create and Celebrate a Nation of Diverse Readers’

-talking about the read alouds compiled by CE PTSA for teachers and students to enjoy
