Congratulations to all of of our Tigers who entered this year’s Reflections art competition!
We were honored to celebrate the 44 entries from our amazingly creative participants at our annual Awards Gala ceremony on November 22nd.
A special acknowledgement to the 12 in each age division who were were awarded finalist ribbons and will advance to the Riverview PTSA Council level of the competition.
The theme, “Accepting Imperfection”, was inspiring! We were touched by the way these young artists could accept the mistakes and the flaws in themselves, their art, and the world around them.
Thank you to all who make this program so successful!
Also…a HUGE thank you to our Reflections Chair, Elizabeth Metcalf and her husband Michael, for their hard work and dedication with the Reflections Arts program! We appreciate your support and creativity with our Tigers!

Hello Tiger Community!
We are looking for volunteers for the Holiday Market on December 6th. Please see the signup link below. If you have Tolt or CHS students looking for volunteer hours, this would be a great opportunity for them.
Please add their names to the sign up, so we can get an accurate count of volunteers.

Are you or someone you know interested in becoming a substitute?
RSD invites you to our Substitute Fair on December 5th, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Education Service Center (district office).
This is a great opportunity to learn about available positions and start the application process. RSD is always hiring substitutes for both certificated and classified roles.

Hey Tiger Community, be sure to save the date for the HOLIDAY MARKET!

Yesterday, PTSA members Laura Ancich, Ashley Borjeson and Char Richenburg visited all the classrooms to talk about the new, year long RADIANT READERS Challenge.
Look for another book list in your Tiger’s backpack this week and help get them to their goal of 15 books!
You can also find the BOOK LIST here: https://carnationptsa.org/…/10/RAD-Readers-Book-List-1.pdf
Our amazing librarian, Mr. Heimfeld, has created a RADIANT READERS section in the CE library and
the wonderful librarians at the Carnation public library have done the same!
As books are read (or listened to), students will have the opportunity to add their names to the bulletin board in the hallway outside of the CE library (pictured).
Our Tigers are RAD…READERS! For more information about this challenge, please follow this link: https://carnationptsa.org/radiantreaders/

Picture retakes are Thursday, November 14!
If you would like retakes, please send your photo packet to school and have your student give it to their teacher.
For students who were absent on our first picture day or are new to our school, orders may be placed at mydorian.com, or your student can bring their order form to their teacher.
