Volunteer
Volunteering is at the heart of our community, and your support makes a significant difference in creating a meaningful elementary school experience for our Tiger community!
Why Volunteer?
Join a group of parents invested in making Carnation Elementary the best place for our kids and staff! By volunteering, you can:
Make a Difference: Your efforts directly impact the success and well-being of our students and school community.
Build Relationships: Connect with other parents, teachers, and students who share a common goal of supporting education.
Stay Informed: Get a firsthand look at school activities, events, and initiatives, keeping you informed and engaged in your child's education.

How to Volunteer
Getting involved is easy! Simply:
1. Complete the Riverview District Application
All volunteers for the school and/or PTSA need to complete the Riverview School District Volunteer Application. Click here to complete this online application. All school volunteers must renew their background checks every two years. It is a good idea to login and verify your information is current.
2. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Emi Byrnes, at tigervolunteers@outlook.com to get added to our email lists for volunteer opportunities. We're here to help you find the perfect volunteer opportunity that aligns with your interests and availability.
3. Sign Up: Keep an eye out for volunteer opportunities through our PTSA emails, newsletters, website, or Facebook.
4. Show up! Once you've signed up for a volunteer opportunity, show up and make a difference! Your time and effort are greatly appreciated.
Company matching for volunteer hours
Does your employer participate in volunteer hour matching? Many do! By submitting your PTSA volunteer hours, employers will make a donation to CEPTSA.
Thank you for considering volunteering with the PTSA! Together, we can make a positive impact on our school community and enrich the educational experience for all students.
