**Accommodations will be made for any students with sensory considerations.**

Our school’s goal is $15,000 which roughly works out to $35 per student.  We can do it!

HOW IT WORKS:

  1. Receive your donation sheet/envelope in Backpack Mail on Friday, September 29th.
  2. Ask friends, family, and neighbors to donate. Fill in the envelope with donation information and return to the school by 4:00 pm on October 12th.  OR send friends and family to pay online at: https://carnationptsa.org/tigerwalkform/
  3. Students participate in Tiger Walk during the school day on Thursday, October 12th. 

HOW TO DONATE:

Carnation Elementary PTSA is a 501(c)(3) organization, and your donations are tax-deductible.

Via cash or check:

  • Please submit fundraising envelopes and online donations anytime between before Thursday, October 12th (event day). Any donations received after 4pm on October 12th will NOT be counted toward the prize totals.
  • Envelopes will not be given back to students once they are turned in, so make sure your donations are complete.
  • Additional donations can still be submitted in a regular envelope marked with your student’s name, teacher, and grade.

*Corporate matching*

We rely on corporate matching as an integral part of our fundraising goals.

Please check with your company’s HR department for eligibility in matching funds. A few companies with matching gift programs include Microsoft, Boeing, Google, Costco, Starbucks, US Bank, Dell, San Mar, Bank of America, J.P. Morgan, Disney, and f5.

PRIZES:

Regardless of fundraising participation, EVERY STUDENT will receive a Tiger Beanie to wear all Fall and Winter Long!

This year the PTSA is giving out all prizes on Prize Friday, October 20th!

1. Whole school prize: If we reach our goal, the entire school gets an extra recess!

2. The top earning class in each grade earns a pizza party!

3. Individual prizes:

  • The top earner from each grade will receive a squishmellow of their choice!
  • Any student who turns in a donation will be entered into a raffle to win $50 in new books for their classroom! One student per grade will win!

Why are we fundraising?

Here are some of the ways PTSA funds support your children and the school:

  • Library enrichment – including books, etc.
  • Tiger t-shirts for incoming kindergarteners
  • Art closet supplies for art docents and teachers
  • 5th-grade recognition
  • $4000+ classroom supplies
  • Staff appreciation and grants
  • Scholarships for Seniors who attended CE
  • Reflections Art Contest
  • Events – Ice Cream Social, Bingo Night, Talent Showcase, Spring Dance, etc.
  • Family and Community Engagement Events (FACE)– Playdates, Movie Nights, Cookies with Caregivers, etc.
  • Science enrichment and 5th Grade outdoor camp
  • And much, much more!
