Are you ready to DANCE?!
Volunteers are very needed for the dance this Friday! The dance is not a drop off event, so if you will be there please sign up to fill a spot! We are all so excited for this (free!!) event! Please sign up if you’re able!

Last week we had our Kindergarten Kick Off!
We are SO excited to welcome new families and new kindergarteners to CE! Do you know an incoming kindergartner who hasn’t been registered yet? Make sure to send their parents to the front office to get registered so they can participate in the fun summer kinder play dates!
We keep the party rolling! Last week Mrs. Patsy, Mrs. Eaton, Mrs. Lemcke and Mrs. Ghioni’s classes got popcorn and movie parties for being top Tiger Walk earning classes! We had a lot of smiling kiddos as we passed out popcorn!
What an excellent way to get some credits for school AND learn all about how your school board works!
APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN TO APPLY TO SERVE AS A STUDENT REP ON THE SCHOOL BOARD!
The Riverview School Board is now accepting applications for the Junior Student Representative position for the 2023-24 school year. Applications are available for current Sophomores, who will graduate in 2025, and be Juniors next year.
Application packets are available online on the Cedarcrest High School and Riverview Learning Center school websites.
To access the information, click “Parents & Students.” Then, from the dropdown menu, click “School Board Student Rep Information” for the application packet. Students will need to use their RSD credentials to login and access materials.

We’ve been having so much fun giving out RAFFLE PRIZES for Tiger Walk!! One of the prizes from Tiger Walk was a raffle for one student per grade to earn $50 in new books for their classrooms!
The following students won: Eilyn Bergquist-Combs (for Mrs. Kober), Elliana Knight (for Mrs. McAlpine), Leo Hampton (for Mrs. Bohl), Lucy Vilsmeyer (for Mrs. Parkin), Brooke Vey (for Mrs. Green), and William Cha (for Mrs. Minaglia).

Gifting out raffles to students from our Tiger Walk wonderful sponsors is a highlight for the PTSA. We had gift certificates from Bear and Bee Used Books, Blake’s Pizzeria, Snapdoodle Toys, Evergreen Speedway, and Ignite Dance Carnation! Here are a few of the smiling faces of kiddos who won raffles!

Hello Tiger Families! It’s time to party at the Carnation Elementary School Dance! Pull out your dancing shoes and locate your binoculars for our Jungle Adventure themed dance – coming up May 19th from 6pm-8pm.
We can’t party without help – please sign up to volunteer and make this happen!
