Pizza Party For Tiger Spirit Winners!

Another big congratulations to Mrs. Grant’s 2/3 class for earning a pizza party for showing awesome Tiger spirit at Tiger Walk! They picked a perfect sunny day to enjoy a picnic outside! We are so happy to celebrate our enthusiastic kiddos!

Congrats again and thank you for showing how much you love being a Tiger!

“S’mores and Storytime” with Mr. Heimfeld

We wrapped up Tiger Walk prizes last week with our top earners from kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades with our second “S’mores and Storytime” with Mr. Heimfeld!

Mr. Heimfeld had everyone laughing with his rendition of Chez Bob while the kids noshed on yummy treats!

Thank you Mr. Heimfeld, for such a fun prize for our kiddos!

Spring Break Reading Challenge

Thanks to all the students who participated in our Spring Break Reading Challenge with a bit of math involved. Although we fell short of our 100,000 reading goal, the amount of reading accomplished by these students was phenomenal. Each participant will be receiving a reading toe token.

We are SO excited to welcome new families and new kindergarteners to CE! Do you know an incoming kindergartner who hasn’t been registered yet? Make sure to send their parents to the front office to get registered so they can participate in the fun summer kinder play dates!

 

Popcorn and Movie Parties!

We keep the party rolling! Last week Mrs. Patsy, Mrs. Eaton, Mrs. Lemcke and Mrs. Ghioni’s classes got popcorn and movie parties for being top Tiger Walk earning classes! We had a lot of smiling kiddos as we passed out popcorn!

 

Student School Board Representative

What an excellent way to get some credits for school AND learn all about how your school board works!

APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN TO APPLY TO SERVE AS A STUDENT REP ON THE SCHOOL BOARD!

The Riverview School Board is now accepting applications for the Junior Student Representative position for the 2023-24 school year. Applications are available for current Sophomores, who will graduate in 2025, and be Juniors next year.

Application packets are available online on the Cedarcrest High School and Riverview Learning Center school websites.

To access the information, click “Parents & Students.” Then, from the dropdown menu, click “School Board Student Rep Information” for the application packet. Students will need to use their RSD credentials to login and access materials.
