The Before-School Club: Fine Art Class is canceled for Wednesday 12/10!!
The make-up class is scheduled for Wednesday December 17th at 8:15 AM.
Riverview School District will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow morning, Dec. 10, 2025, for all schools.
In addition, there will be no out-of-district transportation. Preschool, morning childcare, all before-school programs, and zero hour are canceled.
Encompass will operate on a two-hour delay.
Due to forecasts of heavy rain overnight and ongoing flooding in the region, additional road closures are expected to affect morning travel times. The delayed start provides additional time for employees and families, particularly those commuting from outside our community, to adjust travel routes as needed to arrive safely.
At this time, Tolt Hill Road, a portion of Highway 203 south of Tolt Hill Road, and 124th Street (and bridge) remain closed due to flooding.
Several local roads have large areas of standing water that could create challenging travel conditions. We encourage everyone to use caution, allow extra time, and put safety first when traveling in the area.
District staff will be reassessing local road conditions in the early morning hours, and will communicate any updates to our plan as they become known.
We appreciate your patience as we navigate these challenging weather conditions.

This Washington State PTA calendar highlights student-focused celebrations. What is something that your family looks forward to in December?
Winter break is a great time for Tigers to work on their Radiant Reader Booklist!
They can look for books that interest them on the Rad Readers Cart in the library and you can support them by placing holds at the public library. Audio books are a great option too!…Especially for use during travel.
Books are RAD and so are our Tigers!

We will offer a quiet, sensory-friendly experience from 4:30–5:00 PM. During this time, lights will be lowered, noise will be minimized, and the environment will be intentionally calm to better support individuals who benefit from reduced sensory input.
