Families are welcome to join the Martin Luther King Jr Peace Walk today, January 21st at 3:00.
Please meet at Parent Pickup to join students and staff for this event!
Please join us! We invite you to come see Carnation Elementary in action by joining one of our upcoming Learning Walks.
A Learning Walk is a guided tour of our school during the day, hosted by a school leader. These visits offer a unique opportunity to:
Observe classrooms in action
Learn more about our programs
Gain a deeper understanding of what students experience every day
Each Learning Walk includes a brief introduction, several classroom visits, and a short debrief discussion at the end.
To ensure a respectful and focused experience for both visitors and students, each session is limited to four participants.

Guest speaker Adam Del Rosso introduced the new Tiger Watch program and encouraged parents and community members to get involved in Riverview School District’s new Learning Walks.
We also heard from Dr. Susan Leach, who provided an overview of the levy and bond initiatives that will appear on the February ballot. The Carnation Elementary PTSA Board would like to share that we endorse these proposals and will be voting YES!
Additional highlights from the meeting include:
Standing rules were reviewed, voted on, and approved
The Nominating Committee for the 2026–2027 board positions were voted on and unanimously approved – please join us in congratulating Krista Willis, Myriah Heuburger, and Kaitlyn Thompson
CEPTSA was awarded a WSPTA Bronze Membership Award and achieved 100% staff membership
Committee reports showcased the many amazing events and programs that PTSA brings to our school community

Join the Riverview Schools Committee this Saturday, January 17th outside both Carnation and Duvall libraries from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM to pick up your Vote Yes yard sign for the February 10th ballot measures!

We’ll need to collect your contact information when you grab a sign to ensure we can get the signs back after the vote. Your yard sign helps spread the word and shows our community’s commitment to supporting our students and schools. Every sign makes a difference!
