1st SBC meeting

Steve, Just adding you to this meeting to kick off the Site Based Council for the year.
Location – the CE Library unless Benjamin suggests otherwise
This is placeholder for the first meeting back. More details to come.
Here are some general tasks to being at the August Meeting:

Select Chair, Secretary (& Treasurer to keep the budget spreadsheet).

Set meeting dates for the year

(Job of Sec/Treas) Communicate current budget with SBC and discuss any budget plans for the year (i.e. does the SBC have a specific plan for use of the funds? Just make available for staff requests?) (You will also need to set up a budget spreadsheet for the year and confirm numbers with Krista.)

Review Collective Bargaining Agreement – are there any contract implications that will necessitate changes in the SBC?
*
Review budget for the year
*
Review bulletin board schedule (WHO WILL DO THIS FOR 2526?)
*
Review the plan of operations (or have members read it?)
*
Calendar important dates for the year (What are those? Include PTSA placeholders and Report Card grade due dates)
*
Review/set up committees
*
Look for a community rep for 2526 & verify parent rep (currently Laura Ancich)
