Our Mission and Goals

Mission Statement and Goals

The mission of Carnation Elementary PTSA is to positively impact the lives of all students by partnering with staff, families, and community to foster a culture that values learning, builds community and advocates for all students to excel personally, academically and socially.

We chose this year’s theme: “Growing Together,” to represent all the ways in which our children will learn and grow over the coming year. And together, as anyone who loves a Carnation Tiger, we really can create a year of meaning and joy for our community!  Thank you for your support of the PTSA.

Priorities for the 2023-2024 year include:

  • Focusing on meaningful ways to include ALL children at events, specifically our ISET students and/or those who have sensory needs
  • Providing robust financial support for classrooms (this year look for changes in the library, too!)
  • Improving our communications and connections so the PTSA mission resonates with our Carnation families

What does CEPTSA provide?

  • Funds to teachers for various classroom projects or needs that fall
    outside of the school budget
  • $4,000+ in classroom supplies at the beginning of each year
  • Fun and free family events
  • Art, science and nature curriculum
  • Reflections Art Contest, Talent Show, 5th Grade Recognition
  • Staff appreciation, and much, much more!
