Art Docent Program

The Art Docent Program is a collaborative effort between volunteers, parents, and teachers.   Our Lead Art Docent trains and guides the Art Docent volunteers to  bring an hour of art to classrooms on a monthly basis.

Our goals are:

1) To teach kids about art through lessons on artists, periods, techniques, and principles/elements of art

 2) To do a variety of art with kids using a variety of materials

       3) To share the art with our school community through art displays and pictures

We are very thankful for our Art Docents that volunteer their time and talents  to bring art into the classrooms!  Their creativity and commitment to this Program is much appreciated by students, parents, and the community!
